We’re about to see the Kia ProCeed going official this month. A few days ago, it has been teased with only its rear end came into the light. Now we’re going to see a bit more of it in this half a minute spy video recorded from the German Autobahn, where the ProCeed gracefully accelerated and tested its shooting brake. But of course this time the car went out with camouflage.
What’s more interesting about this video is that the ProCeed wasn’t testing alone, you can see its hatchback sibling was there too. The filmmaker alleged it was the next-gen Ceed GT Line, which Kia refused to detail about. However, it’s believed that the forthcoming hatchback will pack just about the same power as its predecessor, which is around 200 HP.
And judging from the video, the GT Line will likely have the same narrow taillights as the ordinary Ceed. In the bottom section, a set of larger wheels make a difference with a new design. The housing for the rear fog lamp has also been redesigned to complement the car’s new look. Not to mention the likeable dual fat exhaust pipes that are also there.
As for the ProCeed, it gets a good-looking thin LED strip, a spoiler, and dual fat exhaust pipes as well. The trapezoid-like third brake light didn’t clearly show its blink as the car drove rather rushed. What reminds us of the last year’s Concept is the ProCeed’s rear bumper, which looks similar with those chisels.
The Kia ProCeed will be officially unveiled on September 13, while its global premiere would happen next month during the Paris Motor Show.
