You should have heard about the Pininfarina Battista by now. It’s one of the most powerful all-electric cars on the planet, producing 1,900 hp and 1696 lb-ft of torque good for hitting 62 mph in less than 2 seconds. The beast is manufactured by one of the most prominent names in the industry.
So far, it’s only shown at a standstill. What we’ve seen were a few photos of it driving slowly through New York, showing off its gorgeous look in the process. But seriously, this is a mighty hypercar, therefore slow driving is deviating from its nature and style.

Fortunately, there are more recent pictures that give us more pleasant sights of the Battista accelerating around a magnificent mountain pass, where the hypercar seems freer in expressing the nature of its performance. Of course, there’s no need to imagine about the range anxiety the driver might face while cruising far away from charging stations, just imagine the amount of fun he has during the journey.
Instead of going on a gravel and very dusty road like many powerful cars do in movies, the Battista chooses to blend more with a smooth, mountainous reality, which is a good thing. After all, it’s a car that can hit 186 mph in 12 seconds, so it just makes sense if it prefers smooth driving over a rough one. This dramatically improves the way the exotic hypercar entertains our eyes.
