Hennessey Heritage Edition F-150 is Wilder Than Ford GT

After the release of the Mustang GT, another Hennessey’s Heritage Edition car has come out, the new model is built based on the F-150 Truck.

Just like the muscle car, the F-150 also boasts a livery that took inspiration from the GT ’67 Heritage Edition. It’s quite a surprise to know that the red color with those white stripes actually looks great too on the truck, although that’s not the only new thing you can find on the F-150.

Hennessey badging can be seen on the exterior, while the interior features serial numbered dash and embroidered headrests. The car’s engine bay also comes with a serial numbered plaque. To make it even more appealing, Hennessey gives customers two different options. They can either have the truck with an Off-Road Upgrade or Sport Kit Upgrade.

The first package gives you 20-inch 10-spoke wheels, 35-inch off-road tires, a front suspension leveling kit and new bumpers equipped with front LED fog lamps. All these changes result in an overall lift of 3 inches. Meanwhile, the second package offers 22-inch wheels carrying performance tires, Brembo brake system, sway bars and a lowering kit

The only model compatible with these upgrades is the 2018 Ford F-150 that is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine. Mechanically, the modification adds a 2.9-liter supercharger to boost output to 757 HP at 7,000 rpm. This makes the truck more powerful than the 647-HP Ford GT. The fuel system and injectors have also been upgraded; in addition to increased boost pressure, high-flow air induction, and air-to-water intercooler.

The Hennessey Heritage Edition F-150 also comes with a dyno-tuned frame, HPE Engine Management Calibration, and one of the most important thing, a stainless steel cat-back exhaust for the striking soundtrack of the beast’s tuned V8.
