Hennessey Chooses 808-HP Heritage Mustang as its 10,000th Car

Time runs fast enough, it has been 27 years since Hennessey was founded in 1991. Now we’re in 2018, and the American car tuning company announced that it has built its 10,000th vehicle, which now has begun to be copied.

The special car that commemorates this occasion is the Heritage Edition Mustang wrapped in a red and white color scheme, and this will be the only color option available for the limited edition Ford. Hennessey will build only 19 units to make prospective buyers fight over it.

Powering the Heritage Edition Mustang is a retuned 2019 Mustang GT’s engine delivering 808 HP and 918 Nm of torque. With the new output, the monster can sprint to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds until it reaches a top speed exceeding 320 km/h.

New upgrades that Hennessey gives include new injectors and fuel pump, a high-flow air induction system, a three-liter supercharger, an air-to-water intercooler, a lowered suspension kit, and Brembo brake calipers.

The Mustang sits on 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. A carbon fiber front splitter is also fitted, in addition to a rear spoiler and side skirts. The dashboard and engine has plaques with serial numbers referring to the vehicle’s production order from 1-19.

The transmission options are two, either the default six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic. Every Heritage Edition Mustang is offered for $89,950 with a full three-year warranty.
