Bugatti Divo will be unwrapped at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on Friday, August 24. There’s still time to tease the upcoming hypercar a little more though.
Divo’s latest teaser doesn’t focus on anything about the look, Bugatti prefers to give us a sample of the hypercar’s soft roar instead, which doesn’t sound like the Chiron. We don’t know whether its heart comes with new performance or not, we just enjoy its screams.
Suppose the engine isn’t upgraded, its current performance is superb enough and literally needs no extra horsepower. Just think about this, if you have a Chiron’s W16 unit delivering a beastly 1,479 HP and 1,600 Nm of torque, what else do you want? It could make the Divo the king of speed as well with a frightening acceleration to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
The Divo will be a very exclusive hypercar, Bugatti plans to produce only 40 units. We won’t be surprised if half or even all of those examples have already been ordered. To get one, you have to pay a hefty €5 million or around $5.72 million, and that’s still not including tax.
The Divo is about to be unveiled in the next few days, but right now it’s still hiding in the wrap without any outsiders know what it looks like, except a few wealthy customers who really desires the Divo. Of course Bugatti doesn’t want to consider those potential buyers as outsiders.
