All-New 2023 Chevrolet Montana Coming to Mexico Next Year

It has been confirmed that the 2023 Chevrolet Montana will be produced in Brazil. And it takes just one day for the small pickup’s reservations to be filled in the country. Now, did we hear something new? Yes, the tiny Chevy is slated to hit Mexico as well.

General Motors wants to bring the Montana to Mexico during the second half of 2023. This is the first market outside of South America that will see the all-new pickup laying rubber.

Currently, there are already four Chevy trucks on sale in Mexico, including the Colorado, Silverado, Cheyenne, and S10 Max. The Montana’s arrival will bolster the presence of the company’s lineup in the market.

The 2023 Montana is the first compact unibody pickup from Chevrolet. It brings a lot of new features to gain competitive advantage in the fast-growing automobile market in the Latin America.

The pickup is built based on the Global Emerging Markets (GEM) platform and combines a double cab body with Chevy’s most recent design language. It can give truckers the comfort of a utility vehicle while maintaining the practicality and versatility of a pickup.

The main selling point of the 2023 Montana is none other than its cargo box, which is the handiest one on the market thanks to its large trunk with 874 liters of capacity.

Its tonneau cover has a special sealing system that provides ultimate waterproofing. There’s no other pickup of the same segment that has the Multi-Flex bed with a multifunction tailgate like the Montana. It also comes with a large variety of cargo accessories, in addition to standard safety gear.

The all-new Chevrolet Montana is scheduled to debut in Mexico during the second half of 2023. It will be shipped from the Sao Caetano Do Sul factory in Brazil.
