2024 Lexus IS Gets New Trims, Exciting Upgrades

To keep the 2024 Lexus IS up to date, the Japanese brand is making several changes to it. The IS 300 range now offers the F Sport Design trim for both RWD and AWD models. This trim gives the buyers some attractive styling features, such as 19-inch F Sport wheels and exclusive badges.

F Sport variants have been visually upgraded in the same way. Besides, they come with a heated F Sport steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and front seats with heating and ventilation functions. The Grecian Water paint color is only available for non-F-Sport cars.

It’s worth noting that the IS 300 RWD models have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger that produces 241 hp, whereas the IS 300 AWD models use a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 260 hp.

For MY2024, the IS 350 variant gets a new Incognito exterior paint option and a Blackout Package that costs $3,425. This package, which includes Matte Black 19-inch BBS forged wheels, darkened chrome exterior trim, black-painted side mirrors, and a memory package for the driver’s seat, is only offered on IS 350 F Sport models with the optional handling package for $1,160.

A 3.5-liter V6 engine with 311 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque powers the 2024 Lexus IS 350 models. The 350 has a variable transmission based on the driven wheels, similar to the 300 range. RWD models have an eight-speed automatic gearbox, while AWD models use a six-speed one.

Finally, we have the IS 500 comes with a potent V8 that makes a great sound. The 2024 version of this performance sedan has dark chrome trim and black mirrors. Incognito paintwork is also available as an optional extra, as it is for the 350.

If you like to be unique, you might want to check out the Special Appearance Package ($3,670). This package is only available on the Performance Premium trim and adds a cool Blue Vector color and 19-inch BBS forged wheels with a Matte Black finish. The inside also gets blue stitching on the seats, floor mats, and the key fob cover.

Only 150 units of this model will be available in North America, making it a very limited variant. The IS 500 F Sport Performance Premium Special Appearance package is expected to arrive at dealers in the fall.

A natural 5.0-liter V8 engine powers the IS 500 models, making them fast and agile. The Lexus has an eight-speed automatic gearbox and delivers 472 hp and 395 lb-ft to the rear wheels. With this kind of output, it takes 4.4 seconds to sprint from 0-60 mph.
