2020 Audi S6 Sedan Costs From $73,900 in The U.S.

The 2020 Audi S6 has arrived in the US, aiming at those who are living in the country and are looking for a new, reliable sports saloon with good performance. This car will please its owner with a 2.9-liter V6 TFSI engine capable of making 444 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque.

In addition, its performance is also boosted by a 48V mild hybrid system featuring an electric compressor, which makes the S6 turbo-lag free and enables it to dash from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. That is faster than the diesel-powered S6 released in Europe.

If that’s not enough, the car also offers quattro all-wheel drive as standard, an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission, and the optional quattro sport differential system. With extra cash, the S6 can be configured with the S Sport package, adding all-wheel steering, red brake calipers, and a sport exhaust. Combine all these features with a sport suspension with adaptive dampers and you’ll get the most agile version of the sedan.

The S6’s exterior looks great with S-specific bumpers, a platinum double-slat variant of the German automaker’s signature grille, aluminum side mirror covers, aluminum optic front splitter, four S-specific tailpipes and black chrome matte rear diffuser inlay. The car rides on 20-inch, 5-arm design wheels, or you can option it with 21-inch ones.

If you want an even cooler S6, the Black Optics package will give it a black exterior body kit with black exterior mirror covers and 21-inch Anthracite 5V-spoke star wheels.

Upon going inside, you’ll be welcomed by standard features such as the Valcona leather S seating surfaces with diamond stitching, 3-spoke multi-function heated steering wheel, and stainless steel door sills with illuminated S logo.

The new S6 is also technologically complemented by a full-color head-up display, Audi MMI Touch Response Infotainment System with 10.1-inch upper and 8.6-inch lower screens, Audi Virtual Cockpit, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and the optional Bang & Olufsen 3D Advanced Sound System. As for driver assistance, there are a complete suite of standard and optional features ready to provide a safe driving experience.

The US version of the 2020 Audi S6 is better than its European counterpart, especially in terms of horsepower which is roughly 100 more. The price starts at $73,900 for the Premium Plus option and $77,800 for the Prestige model.
