Audi has revealed the price of its new 2019 RS5 Sportback which will arrive in the US later this year. It costs from $75,195, including a $995 delivery fee. Compared to its coupe sibling, the five-door model is more expensive by $4,300.
The standard features that come with the 2019 RS5 Sportback include the Audi Virtual Cockpit, Audi MMI® Navigation plus, Audi connect Prime & Plus, the Audi phone box, back USB ports, and a direct TPMS (tire-pressure monitoring system).
Under the bonnet, the 2019 RS5 Sportback has the same engine as its two-door sibling, that is a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 pumping out 444 HP and 600 Nm of torque. The output enables the Sportback to hit 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, with the top speed reaching 250 km/h.
For those who want a higher performance out of the five-door car, Audi offers the Dynamic plus package as an optional gear. It will increase the top speed to 280 km/h.
The power from the V6 engine is managed through an eight-speed automatic transmission, assisted by a rear-biased four-wheel drive system with a self-locking center differential.
An RS sport suspension setup is also standard on the 2019 RS5 Sportback, which puts the car lower by 7 mm to the road compared to the S5 Sportback. For an even better performance, the adaptive dampers are offered as an option.
