The renewed Acura ILX is scheduled to hit dealerships next week, boasting the automaker’s newest styling and a number of technological improvements.
The 2019 Acura ILX will cost from $26,895 with a $995 delivery fee included. If you compare this price to that of the outgoing model, it’s actually cheaper by $2,200.
The compact sport sedan is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that puts down 201 HP and 180 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Among standard features of the new ILX include 17-inch alloy wheels, a power moonroof, LED headlamps, dual zone climate control system, a ten-way power adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, Smart Entry system and Push Button Start, and others.
AcuraWatch suite of advanced driver assistance and safety systems is also standard on all ILX trims, meaning that every model will have Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist.
The ILX color palette has been expanded with the addition of Majestic Black Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Canyon Bronze Metallic, Performance Red Pearl and Apex Blue Pearl (exclusive to A-Spec models).
Aside from having a new exclusive color, the A-Spec models have also received cosmetic updates that include a sportier look and distinctive revision to the interior. The new sedan has LED fog lamps, a gloss black rear trunk spoiler, darker headlights and taillights, 18-inch wheels with a Shark Gray finish.
On the ILX A-Spec’s interior, there are a graphite silver dash accent, an A-Spec badged steering wheel with contrast stitching, and all-new sports seats finished in exclusive Ebony or Red leather with black Ultrasuede center panels and high contrast stitching.
